Some bass tracks are being re-recorded. The synths are almost done now, although it looks like our good friend Solen (Derango, Bland Bladen, OSC) will lay down some additional synths/bubbles/samples. We're very exited about it. We don't have a deadline for the album, but we can asure you it is getting closer and closer, if not each day then at least each week!

We're still here

It has been very quiet in here besides those of you who has written in our guestbook. Thank you very much.

We had a hard disk failure and almost lost all the recordings for the album. Luckily it was possible to recover the lost data.

And we've been busy making a new double CD-album with the Øresund Space Collective. That should come out sometime in October 2006! Magnus has been mixing in his little studio and we decided to finish the OSC album before continuing with the long awaited new Mantric Muse CD.
We hope to be able to continue the recordings very soon.

Øresund Space Collective

As some of you might have noticed we're also in another band-project called
Øresund Space Collective. It's an all intstrumental band in which no songs exist.
Everything is improvised, live-jamming. Check out the web-page.
It has many gigabytes of audio.
A studio album will be released on the Swedish label transubstans in January 2006.

New album

We finished recording the drum-tracks, and they sound amazing. We're doing everything ourselves and sometimes we get delayed by technical problems. Please be patient

Lineup change

After having played in the band for about two years, Michael Krog has decided to leave Mantric Muse.
But fear not. Mogens Deenfort has jumped in and we're training him and Magnus' wrist, which has been broken.

Compilation CD

Although the Copenhagen Space Rock Festival was cancelled, and never took place, a compilation CD, featuring the announced bands, was released on Burnt Hippie Recordings.
The CD contains unreleased material only, by The Spacious Mind,
Dark Sun, Gas Giant, Darxtar, Pseudo Sun and us.
The song on the CD is Cinope, which we recorded in February 2002 in
the rehearsalroom.
